Reporting to the Board, leading the HR function for the Group during a period of significant change - the integration of three major business acquisitions and the conversion from a Mutual Society to Plc status. The overall goal was to present the Group as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ organisation to potential shareholders and to create an executive team capable of leading its staff through transformation period. The role undertaken included the implementation of an HR Shared Services function across the Group with self-service and the adoption of best practices which moved HR efficiency to the top quartile of FS companies and reduced costs by 40%.
