For a major Department Store Chain
Working with the CEO and Board, led the organisation, detailed planning and management of a major programme to implement Supply Chain best practice processes and systems - covering all departments, head office functions, distribution and store operations. The prime objectives of the programme were to reduce costs significantly and improve gross margins by 10-15%. With a fixed budget and a phased implementation plan, organised and managed many cross-functional teams to deliver the different stages. The final implementation phases were effected through a consultancy partnership to provide additional specialist skills and resources.
